Summer 2024

This term allows us to explore the world around us and the people who have helped shape our thinking about the natural world. We learn about key individuals who have changed the way we act and what we believe alongside developing our understanding of the plants in our local environment. Our observations lead us to create a range of beautiful art work, inspired by the flowers and trees we discover.

Why not ask your child what they can tell you about...

  • Which key people they think have impacted our world in a positive way.
  • The names of the plants they know.
  • The different ways they have been representing plants in their artwork.
  • The healthy food they have tasted and created.

Below are the knowledge organisers which we use to support our key learning. How many facts do you know?

Phonics, phonics, phonics!

Below are some resources to help you support your child as they consolidate their learning in phonics.
